The Self-Portrait is a standard for an artist's portfolio. It is challenging to design and create a self-study - this is all about you! Get Creative with these requirements - Recognizable, Expressive, Original, with an Inspiration Artist. Be sure to look at the Sketchbook Design examples in POC as your planning will be graded and is essential to creation of a successful work. Check out Ms. Bailey's Pinterest Figurative & Portraits.
Planning Requirement Minimums - thorough planning often involves more than minimum. This should all be secured in your sketchbook. Your planning should be so thorough that if you handed your sketchbook to another Art III student they would be able to create the artwork. This should occupy at least 4 sketchbook pages.
