For this project you will delve into Color Theory and have a choice between a few assignments. You must utilize TRIADS. Remember that these are color combinations utilizing a triangle within the color wheel.

Consider using Thiebaud as an inspiration - this can be 1 work with 3 objects or 3 works
Use the parameters from the Project of Choice to propose exploring a triad or two.
State the intended goal of your project - assignment option and what you are trying to relay
5 Artworks (1 page) of artwork that utilizes color along with written analysis of what you like about it
6 ORIGINAL reference images and/or sketches with DIFFERENT compositions
Peer critique notes
Another page figuring out which composition, imagery, triads, color values you will use.
Planning should be so complete that you should be able to hand it to another student and they would be able to start working on it without asking ANY questions. Medium, dimensions, colors, reference images, EVERYTHING all figured out. This does not mean that the working process won't include spontaneity, it just means that you will have most decisions made and can focus on the mark-making rather than formal aspects.
