HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL
KEEP UP WITH THE DUE DATES CALENDAR
BE INVESTED IN YOUR WORK
PARTICIPATE IN CLASS
HAVE GOOD STUDIO HABITS - Show up on time, ready and prepared to work.
While working on artwork in class, start working on the next at home. Show planning before starting and bring to school when 50% completed, critique won't help you adjust the work once it is complete.
CRITIQUES - An incredibly useful tool to the studio artist. We will critique informally and formally for both finished and in-process work on a regular basis. Your peers are an exceptional resource. You are expected to be prepared (artwork & feedback request) for and participate in critiques. Dates for critiques will be given in class. Peer Critique Protocol, 3 Person Critique Form
ORGANIZATION
TURNING WORK IN - Work will turned in to 3 places. Physical artwork/sketchbook to Ms. Bailey, photographed and in Google Folder, and uploaded to Schoology. Late work will be deducted 10% per day.
