Homework week 1/2:

*Read the book at least four to five times this week.

*Draw two toys or objects from your home that rhyme on the paper provided. __ and __ are toys that rhyme.

Kindergarten: Write three words that rhyme with "hat" and three words that

rhyme with hot. Draw matching picures for the words.

Homework week 2/2:

*Read the book at least four to five times.

*Cut out and sort rhyming cards. cat/rat and mouse/house

*Teach your child to determine if the problem is a small one that can be solved by himself or herself, e.g., "little mouse

problem" or a "big elephant problem" that requires adult assistance. Use the enclosed pic sym to teach this concept.
