Invited and Connected parents

Each year your classes are imported for you. Any parents who were connected the previous year will still be connected. New parents will need to be invited. You can do this by clicking on the link for instructions.

Invited and connected teachers

If you have other teachers that are teaching your class and they would like to be involved. You can see if they are connected and invite them by:

Check your settings

Go to the wrench on your home page and check you have the settings you need. Teacher approval must always be switched on. Please go to Student likes and comments. When you do you will see this:

Student comments are switched on. This means they can comment on each others post and you will have to approve their posts. You can turn this off.

Family Settings

Check you have the family settings on that you need. Currently likes are switched off. You can switch them on so parents can like posts and show that they have seen it.

Folders

Talk with your team and think about how best to organise your students work. Folders help you easily sort your posts, know how many posts you have made and can help with reportsing as you can quickly search for a subject area. How to create folders information can be found here.

Update your students profile pictures

If you have taken new pictures of your students you can update their profile pictures. Students can no longer do this. Having an accurate picture can help other teachers if they are making posts in your class. Have your photos in jpeg form and saved in the drive so they can be dropped in easily.
