Instruction to store data on CCGT lab computers

I. Local Hard Drives Are No Longer Available

Although these computers have a local C drive, all the contents get deleted every two weeks. Therefore, please do not save any data on the C drive of these machines. Instead you can use the Personal Home Directory (U Drive) that will also allow you to access your data from any computer.

II. Fast personal storage of all your data in U drive

Home Directory space (U: drive) is provided for all faculty, staff and students with a valid Clemson User ID. The initial space allocation for your U drive is 10GB.
