Round Table

1. Place students in groups of 3 to 5 and have each group appoint one person as a recorder.
2. Provide the recorder with a sheet of paper and a marker.
3. Pose an open-ended question or problem to the class.
4. Provide time for students to think about the question or problem.
5. Team members take turns sharing responses to the question/problem within teams in a round robin fashion. Participants may pass on their turn if they choose.
6. The recorder writes team responses or ideas on paper or a shared document as responses or ideas are shared.
7. Team members continue generating ideas or answers until time is called.
