Shoulder Partner Discussion

1. Introduce a task, problem or question to the entire class.
2. Ask students to turn to a person who is sitting in close proximity (a shoulder partner) and complete the task, problem or question together.
3. Provide adequate time for pairs to complete the assigned task.
4. Randomly select pairs to share highlights of their discussion and/or possible solutions to the problem or question.
