Paraphrase Passport

1. Pose a question or prompt for small-group consideration.
2. One designated team member makes an initial statement/response.
3. The group pauses for 5 seconds.
4. The next team member serves as a listener and paraphrases what was just said, then asks a clarifying question.
5. The question is answered by the initial team member.
6. A second team member shares a response.
7. A third team member pauses, paraphrases and questions.
8. Repeat this share-pause-paraphrase process until everyone has shared.
