Feedback Focus

  • Individuals will review their work and identify an area of concern, an aspect they hope to improve, a specific question they want answered, etc. This will be the feedback focus.
  • Give each individual a note card or sticky note and have them record their feedback focus on the note.
  • Place the feedback focus note and a sheet of blank paper next to the work to be reviewed.
  • Provide time for all participants to move around the room examining 3 - 5 works by others and giving specific and helpful feedback.
  • When giving feedback, encourage the use of "I" statements.
    • I like...
    • I wonder...
    • I have...
    • I think...
    • I wish...
