Silent & Simultaneous
- Working with partners or in small groups, students are assigned text to read and review.
- Partners silently and simultaneously read a section or chunk of text.
- At the end of a section, they stop and share the most important point, key idea, one sentence summary, or other important text feature.
- Partners continue this process until they have read and reviewed the entire assigned text.
