Essential Learner Outcomes

MU.Choir6.1 - The student will sing accurately and with good breath control throughout their singing ranges, in small and large ensembles

MU.Choir6.2 -The student will read at sight simple melodies in both the treble and/or bass clefs.

MU.Choir6.3 - The student will describe specific music events in a given aural example using appropriate terminology.

MU.Choir6.4 - The student will develop criteria for evaluating the quality & effectiveness of music performances and and compositions and apply criteria in their personal listening and performances.

MU.Choir6.5 - The student will describe distinguishing characteristics of representative music genres and styles from a variety of cultures.
