Horsepower

believe it or not

Highlight of August was obtaining my vaunted Ebay "Blue Star Rating" by acquiring sundry items that all have historical or legendary significance especially the Commodus Roman gladiator coin.

Added to my WHW collection with this Dietrich von Bern or Theodoric the Great piece. Interesting legends from 300-400 AD and It goes along with my dragon slaying coin story. And yes, Kathy and I visited Bern a couple times.

Obtained a miniature illuminated manuscript poem of King Arthur 400-500 AD just to see if there will be any connection to our Olmsted ancestors. I notice the symbolic cross and the reference to Lyon (ship Richard Olmsted crossed the Atlantic in). Needs much more research.

Grooming keeps horsepower at peak performance at Saratoga. This just down the street from the Shiek of Dubai. Horses share the trails with Granddog Misha. Then cuz Jim Smith sent me the Lithuanian stamps to go with my coins.

We brought in the 475 horsepower Reichdrill (ne 3rd Reich) unit to add a new water well this month. The drillers appreciated link to my well drill video .The geologic historical deposits we brought up, the bits of sand and shale came from 80 feet below and thousands of years to allow us a new water supply for our house.
