Tethered Again

New display case at SAM outside the race simulator machines in the youth area upstairs. If you click on the picture above and go fullscreen, you can read the Dale Olmsted credit (but your computer may think it's a virus or a terrorist threat). It sits just under Commander Cody's art. Further into the room past the computers is a jitney, soapbox racers, and a picture of Watkins Glen all things very reminiscent of my experiences. I took a shot at the '73 Grand Prix almost identitical to the wall mural. Buddy Pete is in the drunk photographer shot. Not what you think, he is at the fence in Army jacket, camera around neck.

The doodle bug looked so similar to the one we used to drive around. My soapbox racer shots were from Stan Connelly's barn; probably priceless heirlooms now. SAM exhibit downstairs is now Hot Rods.
