4H Run no.23 were started from Yokohama Media Business Center (The Center were holding a Jazz Event on that day.)at 10 to 15 minites past 15pm by 11 runners. (Hare: Santa Maria, Kim-will-run

Runners: Tapeworm, Cliff Hunger, Good on Top,Pasoconti,Bisconti,Desperado, Heyman,Enrique, Michiko, Takanori, Tomoko)

It was hard rain from a day before, but at the time when we run, it changed really nice weather.

The trail length was 10K, 7check points (5check points and "double 6" points) and no check back.

We went to Noge area at first. It was CP1 that we tried to find the next arrow, and we found it near Wing Yokohama. Around there,it was little bit hard to find arrows because some of arrows were dissapeared due to many people stepped on.It was so crowded.

After passing Wing Yokohama, The trail was going up big slope to the Zoo. It is free of charge to get in, I want to come again to the zoo some day.

From this area, we found many kinds of arrows, not only 4H but also SUMO Hash, and others. We were little confused but tried to find our arrows signed by flour and colored chalks.

After going down the slope, we passed downtown area(I think that was Isezakicho or Chojyamachi area), there were many Pachinko shops, Bars, also many "Sento"(Japanese Spa) at that area. Japanese Showa era's atmosphere were remained over there.

Actually,at that time, I was somewhat warried whether we run right trail or not because next CP were not appeared easily, but Heyman's super energetic "On-On" cheers made us happy and cheerful. Enrique said he needed Heyman's energy because he hadn't had enough sleep recently.

There were big intersection near Ishikawacho station. And it was one of the CP.I think it was hardest CP to find an next arrow, because it took 10-15 minutes to find the next, even though almost all the runner's searched in separately for next arrows at the same time.

But it was finally found in the slight bush near the sidewalk.

We moved to Motomachi area and went up many steps to Ferris University. The atomosphere of the area drastically changed from Noge and downtown area.

On the way of climing up many steps to Yamate area, we passed interesting house. It is like Japanese Snow House (In Japanese,it calls KAMAKURA)

And then, we passed Chapels which were held Wedding celemony, there were many tourists and we run to UMI NO MIERU OKA park.

The ocean view was awesome, and we were already ready to drink a beer...(It was almost passed 1.5 hours by then.)

When we passed Ningyo no ie (Yokohama Doll Museum) we found last CP, and found arrow near YOKOHAMA tower. On the way to Kannai area, we found So-Ka Gakkai building, It was written"Nammyo Ho Ren Ge Kyo" on a ground with arrow, It was funny Joke by Santa Maria.

After passing Yamashita Park, Cliff Hunger, Good on Top, Heyman and I run together to Media center which was goal.Yeah!! It took around 2 hours to get there.

It was really adventurous city Hash run in this time. After 10 minutes later, other runners came back from different direction.

From the Yamate Area, there were many many kinds of arrows which led us wrong direction (As I said, there were other Hash Run on that day.)

We went to IZAKAYA"WAN" for "ON-ON", we enjoyed Kyushu foods such as Karashi Renkon (Karashi lotus), Nabe, and Ramen etc.

The food was delicious and reasonable prices (3500yen per person) including NOMI HODAY (Free alcohol drink).

Santa Maria and Kim-will-Run brought delicious red wine and we enjoyed so much.

After 1st party at "WAN", we were invited to Santa Maria and Kim-will-Run's house as a 2nd Party. We enjoyed their nice foods(Quiche, kir Trifle, Spinach pie, and Cheese etc) and Wine and fun conversation. Thank you so much for organizing all!! Santa Maria, Kim-Will-Run!!

This time, we passed YOKOHAMA's famous sight seeing spots, and I found many interesting shops and restaurants which I want to visit again.

Next Hash will be 2nd anniversary run in Hayama!! I am looking foward to join. I am sure it will be wonderful Hash run!!

ON-ON

PS. Thank you fo giving me an opportunity to write a report,(but I am sorry for my inexperienced amateur report...)
