Exhibitions in the Wellesley College Art Dept
Jewett Art Gallery
The Art Department’s marquee exhibition space, the Jewett Art Gallery hosts a mix of contemporary professional artists and student exhibitions, and serves as the focal point for the Thesis and Senior Exhibition at the end of each spring semester.
Jewett Sculpture Court
The light-filled, multilevel Sculpture Court is a combination exhibition space, meeting place for art-related student clubs, and a spot for students, faculty, and staff to hang out or work between classes.
Jewett Hallway Galleries
Featuring midcentury fabric walls, the Hallway Galleries typically showcase studio art coursework and student club-related exhibitions throughout the year.
Starting in the Spring of 2020, when we were prevented from exhibiting the work of our graduating seniors in person, we have been creating exhibition websites in tandem with the annual Senior and Thesis Exhibition.
