Environmental Studies major, Studio Art minor
I find a lot of peace within the natural world. Much of what I enjoy creating is inspired from nature and non-human beings. I grew up around nature - my backyard is the Everglades - so from a young age I was taught to appreciate and be curious about the natural world. I hope to use my art to illustrate its beauty and have others appreciate the unique structures the Earth has created.

I am especially drawn to the smaller aspects of our natural ecosystem. Our eyes tend to be drawn to larger or more obvious subjects when on a walk outside. It can be easy to forget about the smaller, hidden components amongst massive trees and playful squirrels. There are plenty of intricate shapes that you find within a piece of bark or moss - if you take a moment to stop and observe them. I enjoy being able to take the time to notice how intricate nature truly is. I got up close to a variety of natural subjects around the Wellesley campus to capture the details I miss during a normal walk.
