I have a passion for photography that has continued throughout middle and high school, and now I have spent my senior year at Wellesley College rediscovering my love of photography. Through art courses and beyond, I seek to capture familiar objects and places from fresh perspectives. I enjoy pushing the limits of photography by exploring how this 2D medium can become sculptural, including through creative photo books.

Become immersed in a fairytale world, beginning with images of upbeat feelings and mysterious tones. In this pop-up book, images of objects, people, and places overlap to establish the fairytale world, which is constructed through sequenced photographs of symmetrical pink-purple backgrounds and repeated eerie hands. Viewers are invited to allow their curiosity to lead them in manipulating the physical book and pondering its fantastical images, as its mood shifts depending on which side you access the book from. A multitude of stories ebb and flow in this single form… Will the story you find end in “happily ever after?”
