I like taking pictures of things that look cool. If you count from my very first Winnie-The-Pooh themed film camera, I started taking pictures of things when I was around five years old. I also enjoy a variety of other crafts and art forms including fiber arts, printmaking, and more.

this body of work explores points of intersection between humans and nature. i take a close-up look at things that show this human + nature interaction in two ways: where they are existing, or by the fact of their existence.

each image in the series satisfies at least one of the following criteria:

a nature thing in the context of a human thing or space
a human thing that is

a. visually reminiscent of a nature thing and/or

b. is in the context of a nature thing or place

a thing that was originally a nature thing but due to human intervention it has been changed and is no longer a nature thing in the same way
