Spending my final year at Wellesley, I've found myself searching for the person I've become through the past four years and into my future. In the fall I drew towering hands-- grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and wandering. This spring I attempted to capture myself filming through our campus, but there was too much missing. It felt like I was capturing the motions of being on campus rather than the self that had gone through Wellesley.

When I was tasked with painting a map, I moved away from campus, the one place where I "have my own room." Instead I chose to paint the space that defined the pandemic for me-- my sister's room. When she was having a hard time, I'd try to get closer to her by visiting her room. While it isn't anywhere close to Wellesley, I find it is a space that defines a great part of my Wellesley experience and the person I've become.
