Follow Up: Front Desk and Call Center can schedule

At the end of the appointment check with the patient to see if they want a copy of the 

WC form to present to their employer

– A Demand Appt. is one that is set by the work comp insurance adjuster and they send out a certified letter to the patient. If a patient ever wants to change a “demand appt” please transfer them to work comp 

If a Work Comp Patient:

If a patient calls on the phone, or

company calls to schedule

The front desk or call center may schedule the appointment, then you must email Laura Cross (Lcross@vsortho.com) AND the referrals team (referrals@vsortho.com)

The following information needs to be included in the emailed to Laura:

Case #, if patient has it

HR director’s name or contact for the company and direct phone number

Insurance company (example . . . Sedgwick, Pinnacol, etc)

If the patient does not have this information, please email Laura with any of the above mentioned information.
