*** We DO NOT accept 3rd party insurance companies***
(This means that we do not take the insurance of the person who ran into the patient.)
Even if MedPay (funds available under the medical portion of auto insurance) is available we must still get health insurance card scanned in chart and mark it secondary.
*** IF the patient has Medicaid they can not be seen.
If they have another Health Plan that we are out of network or the patient has no health insurance we need to inform them that they will be responsible for all fees after MedPay is exhausted.
BEFORE SCHEDULING APPOINTMENT,
Once you have all that information, send it to

What is MedPay: Available funds under the medial portion of auto insurance.
What happens after MedPay is exhausted: Claims will then be submitted to the primary health insurance on file. If there is no information on file it becomes patient responsibility
VSON Will obtain preauthorization’s for high cost services(MRI’s, Surgery etch.) through the patient’s primary health insurance even if MedPay is still active with the auto claim. Why: Most auto insurance MedPay’s have a small allotted amount. When we call to verify if MedPay is available the auto insurance may not always verify the actual dollar amount remaining.
