Clerics heal and bless other villagers and help guard the village.

Healing

Clerics will continually look for a member of the village that might be hurt and in need of healing. They will always prioritize helping out any guards that are in combat. If a guard is engaged with an enemy anywhere in town the Clerics will come running to keep him healed. If no guards are fighting enemies, then the cleric will look for other villagers within 30 blocks that are less than full health.

Once a healing target is identified, the Cleric will run to the target as quickly as possible and cast his spell. When a villager is healed they will gain between 3 to 6 health back depending on the skill level of the Cleric. After being healed, the villager will gain 10 happiness while the Cleric will also gain 2.

Each heal will take 8 hunger points from the Cleric.

Bless

As the Cleric wanders the village they will periodically bestow a blessing upon one of their fellow villagers. The target must be within 25 blocks, below maximum happiness, and not already blessed.

During the blessing period, the Cleric's skill levels are added to the blessed villager's skill level (they will appear in green in the villager's UI). For example, if a level 20 Farmer is blessed by a level 30 Cleric, the Farmer will temporarily have his Farming skill raised to 50.

Also while blessed, the target will move quite a bit faster and slowly regain happiness.

Bless lasts for 5 minutes and the Cleric can cast it every 1 minute.

Bless has no effect on players.
