Guard posts are a special structure used to help organize the Guards. If there are Guard Posts in the village, Guards will prioritize the area around the Guard Posts when patrolling.

A guard post has no structure requirements other than an item frame. Place them on any wall; a door is not required.
Available guards will patrol between each of the posts.
If the number of Guards equals the number of Posts, they will each patrol one post. However, if the number of Guards is greater than the number of Posts, the leftover Guards should patrol the village as normal.
Guards will patrol the area around the Guard Post up to 8 blocks.
