Homes allow your Villagers to socialize and to sleep. Both these behaviors allow your Villagers to regain Happiness.

Requirements

Homes have the same requirements of all other Structures. Additionally, beds must be placed for your Villagers to sleep.

Each Villager needs one bed.

Chairs can also be placed in a Home for an additional Happiness boost if the Villager uses it.

Homes have 3 Structure Markers:

  • 2 Beds
  • 4 Beds
  • 6 Beds

Each Home marker can be purchased from the Architect; the more beds, the higher the price.

Any color bed can be placed in a home. When the home token is placed the beds inside will receive a color: yellow if it is valid and red if it is not. Once a villager claims a bed, it will turn green.

Uses

Homes are used by all Villagers. Every Villager sleeps during the night, except Guards and Clerics who both sleep during the day.

Every Villager has a slightly different sleeping pattern so not all of them will go to bed and wake up at the exact same times.

Sleeping increases Villager happiness.

Villagers will always sleep in the same house.

All villagers except the Architect and Tradesman need to sleep.
