Physical Education
The Physical Education (PE) Department continues to provide meaningful and holistic experiences that nurture students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through a comprehensive curriculum and a series of school-wide programmes, students develop essential life skills and Emerging 21st Century Competencies (21CC) such as critical, adaptive and inventive thinking, communication and collaboration, civic literacy, and global awareness. These experiences also strengthen our school values of Service, Tenacity, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, and Empathy.
Physical Sports form the foundation of the PE curriculum, offering students opportunities to participate in individual and team games such as volleyball, badminton, floorball, and basketball. Through these experiences, students develop physical fitness, motor skills, and coordination.
Beyond the physical, they cultivate collaboration and communication skills, learning to work effectively in teams, resolve conflicts, and show sportsmanship. These lessons instil Respect for others, Integrity in fair play, and Diligence in continuous improvement, nurturing confident and active individuals who value lifelong participation in sport.

The integration of Personal Learning Devices (PLDs) enhances the experience, allowing students to receive real-time feedback and reflect on their learning digitally. Through these experiences, students demonstrate Tenacity in overcoming challenges, Integrity in teamwork, and Diligence in acquiring practical outdoor skills that prepare them for life.

Health and Safety education equips students with the knowledge and habits to lead active and safe lifestyles. Topics such as injury prevention, hydration, nutrition, and responsible participation in physical activity help students make informed decisions. By caring for their own and others’ safety, they embody Empathy and Service, while developing civic literacy and global awareness about broader health issues affecting communities worldwide.
