MOE-OBS Challenge Programme:Â
An Adventure Beyond the Classroom
From 17-21 March 2025, our Secondary 3 students embarked on an extraordinary journey through the MOE-OBS Challenge Programme, trading textbooks for trekking boots and classrooms for the great outdoors.
This expedition-based adventure brought together students from various schools, creating a melting pot of personalities and perspectives. Over five transformative days, our students discovered strengths they never knew they possessed whilst navigating unfamiliar terrain and overcoming challenging obstacles alongside newfound friends.
The programme proved to be far more than outdoor education—it was a masterclass in resilience, teamwork, and personal growth. Students developed crucial 21st-century competencies through authentic experiences that no classroom could replicate. They learnt to communicate effectively, manage conflicts, and embrace inclusivity whilst building lasting friendships across school boundaries.
The ultimate testament to the programme's success? Our students were so captivated by their adventure that they didn't want to return home! They returned as confident individuals, equipped with enhanced social cohesion skills and a deeper understanding of their role as concerned citizens in their community.
