Our Peer Support Leaders (PSLs) led the way in championing empathy and understanding through Inclusivity Week 2025, an initiative to raise awareness about diversity, mental health, and supporting peers with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Centred around the theme “Pieces of aPuzzle,” the week reminded us that every individual is a unique and important part of our Springfield community. Students had the opportunity to decorate their own puzzle pieces, which came together to form a beautiful artwork now displayed in the library - a powerful symbol of unity in diversity.
Throughout the week, our PSLs organised interactive activities in the canteen, encouraging students to learn more about inclusion and respect in fun, meaningful ways. We were also glad to partner with organisations such as SAMH (Singapore Association for Mental Health) and Boys’ Town, who set up engaging booths during recess to educate and connect with our students.
Inclusivity Week was a wonderful reminder that while we may all be different, we each have a place and a purpose in completing the bigger picture - together, we make Springfield whole.
