Students-in-action (Getting ready and excited before Presentation)
The Ignite Skills Challenge is an annual competition that introduces students to technical skills and provides insights into courses offered by ITE. Designed to be engaging and hands-on, the competition allows students to learn in a fun and memorable way.
This year, 6 of our Secondary 3NA and NT Craft & Technology students participated in 2 exciting challenges across the ITE campuses:
Sustainability Shorts Challenge - Participants use their mobile phones to create short, engaging videos that promote sustainable practices. Harness AI-assisted tools for script ideas and storyboarding, then edit your videos into social media shorts using AI apps. Showcase how small changes can make a big difference, using a positive tone, lively music, and clear voiceovers or text overlays. Finally, participants will include a compelling call-to-action, encouraging viewers to share their own sustainable practices.
Influencer Showdown Challenge - Participants will select a product of their choice to work with and develop compelling content to promote it. They will craft strategies for marketing, including videos, photos, and captions, culminating in a live-selling event on a social media platform of their choice. This activity not only hones their content creation and branding skills but also provides hands-on experience in digital marketing and real-time audience engagement, preparing them for the dynamic world of social commerce.
We are proud to announce that the Influencer Showdown Team excelled and secured a place in the IgnITE Skills Finals. Their dedication and hard work have placed them among the Top 10 Teams in the Influencer Showdown category. The team members are BOORLA SRIHITHA, NUR FITRI ALEESYA BINTE JOHARI, and YU ZHI YA, KAYLA from 3C.
Congratulations to our students on their achievements!
