Alumni Homecoming 2025 : Once a Springfielder, a Springfielder for Life
On 26 April 2025, Springfield Secondary School welcomed back more than 300 alumni for our first-ever Alumni Homecoming — a milestone event that brought past cohorts together under one roof. Held in the school hall, the morning was filled with warm reunions, laughter, and heartfelt conversations as alumni reconnected with former classmates, teachers, and the wider school community.
The Homecoming was organised with two key purposes in mind:
To strengthen the school’s ties with alumni by reconnecting with graduating batches from past years and fostering a lasting sense of belonging.
To build a supportive alumni network that the school can tap on to provide meaningful learning experiences for current students, such as career talks, mentorship, and sharings.
The event was exceptionally well received. Feedback from attendees showed overwhelmingly positive sentiments, with most alumni highlighting they felt welcomed and appreciated, having ample opportunities to reconnect, and a renewed pride in being part of Springfield.
A key outcome of the Homecoming was the compilation of a new alumni contact list, categorised by the different ways alumni wish to support the school. This forms the foundation for future collaborations that will enrich our students’ learning journeys. In addition, the school launched the Springfield Alumni Network (SAN) through a dedicated WhatsApp Channel, providing a platform for continued engagement and updates on future events.
The inaugural Alumni Homecoming marks an important step forward in strengthening Springfield’s community spirit. It was a meaningful celebration of shared memories, enduring friendships, and the lasting bond that unites all Springfielders — truly living out the belief that once a Springfielder, always a Springfielder.
