The Mother Tongue Language Department welcomed 2025 with enthusiasm and purpose, celebrating the beauty and diversity of our languages and cultures through a vibrant line-up of activities. From festive occasions to creative competitions, the year was filled with meaningful experiences that deepened students’ appreciation for their linguistic heritage.
Cultural Celebrations
Spring Festival Celebrations (January 2025): The school ushered in the Lunar New Year with joy and excitement, as students explored age-old traditions and the values behind this cherished festival.
Hari Raya Celebrations (April 2025): The festivities brought the school community together in the spirit of harmony and inclusivity, offering students a lively glimpse into Malay culture and its beautiful customs.
Mother Tongue Language Fortnight (2025)
Students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide range of engaging and hands-on language activities. Through creative workshops, performances, and cultural showcases, they discovered new ways to express themselves and connect more deeply with their mother tongues.
