ABSTRACT
This project aims to provide cooling during times of extreme heat in the country, while preserving the environment, providing a practical and cost effective solution. Because of the nature of the temperature in the Philippines, the group decided to research on one of the various ways to provide a solution to a problem the Filipino people have in common. One of the ways are the creation of Mini Fans, and its function within hot humidity area.
Depending on a thermometer, the Fan produced a wind temperature up to 22° celsius, which was cold enough to support a hot temperature. The recycled mini fan remained functional even for a period of time. The objective to design an eco friendly product that functions well was met. According to the graph and table, 93.1% are interested in using recycled products, indicating the increased chances of growing our product.
The aim is also to enough speed that are suitable for people who are having dissatisfaction with most of the mini fans speed or people that tend to sweat easily when it comes to standing or walking under the heat especially for those who has asthma, and heat intolerance. The group also tried to use different types of batteries whether if it would have the same speed as the mini fan we have used.
