Abstract
This research study was conducted to lessen the waste production that has been a problem in the society nowadays and the possible disease that people might adapt out of onion peels (Allium cepa L.) wastes, as well as to educate people about the other usage of onion peels (Allium cepa L.) in different aspects of life. The researchers have decided to develop an onion skin paper as a decorative material to combat these types of problems. The researchers want to spread awareness about the potential of onion peels by creating a new product made from it, for it not only decomposes in the landfill but may also cause various diseases. This study aims to have a better knowledge of transforming wastes into eco-friendly products, just like what the researchers did to the onion skin (which the researchers have transformed into a decorative paper), its advantages and impacts on many people’s daily lives, and to help the world become a better place.
