ABSTRACT
Dirt and stains start from us both inside and outside our home. These are the common problems when it comes to our house. One of these is the grout on the floor. The dust that accumulates on the grout makes our tiles appear unclean, which is our problem. Even if something has been thoroughly cleaned, the dusty grout might still give it a stained appearance. Additionally, if you neglect to clean for an extended period of time, the grout may eventually break. We are aware that some dirt could cause us to become ill. That’s why we came up with the idea to make a cleaning agent. Since grout is naturally porous and usually composed of sand, water, soap scum, dirt, and debris can all pass through its surface. Grout sealing can provide some protection, but it eventually wears out.
Therefore, this group aims to find the alternative cleaning solution that is not harmful to our health, especially cleaning comfort rooms, and to know if it's really true that it is an effective product for polishing the tiles and other surfaces. The objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of a natural cleaning solution made from Vinegar, Baking Soda, and Salt as an eco-friendly alternative for disinfecting and cleaning dirty grout.
The study aims to test its ability to remove stains, eliminate bacteria, and compare its performance with commercial cleaners, while promoting sustainable and environmentally safe cleaning practices. According to howstuffworks, baking soda and vinegar are effective for various household cleaning tasks. The chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar creates carbon dioxide gas, which helps dislodge dirt and grime, making it easier to clean surfaces and unclog drains.
