Group Activities

• Discuss and quiz each other about the subject material. Treat this like an oral exam. Come to the group well prepared but ready to identify any area that you do not understand. •	Share class notes, compare, clarify. •	Discuss discrepancies in member’s notes and correct them. •	Share outlines done outside of group. •	Figure out what the main topics are and what is most important to learn. •	Help each other come up with ways to remember information. •	Practice teaching each other (make a list of topics, each chooses one and then teaches the others – vocalizing, organizing the material, etc. in teaching to others further reinforces your memory). •	Brainstorm possible test questions (or use Quizlet to create tests from flashcards). •	Do practice questions at home and then go over the hard ones together. •	Set an agenda for each meeting and make sure each person leaves the study group with an assignment for the next meeting.
