Music

Use music by creating a song composed of things you need to remember.

If you like to have movement, pair the song with a dance.  To remember, visualize yourself singing and dancing.  Use subtle movements of the dance to encourage memory during a test.

Remember to buy Meow Mix for your cat.

How many lyrics to songs do you remember?

How did you come to remember them?

This uses the same methods.

Advertisers use this method to help customers remember their product.

Repetition pairs a cue like a picture, word, or phrase (what you need to remember) to the music, song, and/or movement.

Below are examples of songs that were created to help memory to inspire you to create your own songs to help you remember what you need to remember.

Write new words for songs you already know like Old MacDonald Had a Farm.

The songs need not be fancy or perfect. They just need to help you remember.
