Knowing what and how much to write can be difficult. 

Use the following tips to determine what to include in your notes.

As your instructor speaks, s/he may drop hints that an important nugget of information is about to be delivered. 

When you hear phrasing or cues like the ones listed below, pay special attention to the information that follows.
