Going to Class

Getting to class can be a difficult.

This means showing up for in-person classes and/or sitting in front of a computer at regular times throughout the week to do the work in online classes.

If you are struggling, assess the problem.

Do you have problems with time management?

Do you not have access to a computer and the Internet regularly?

Do you have a physical medical problem that results in your being late?

Do you have psychological symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia, or other things that makes attending class difficult?

Do you have family or job responsibilities that interfere with attending class?

Do you just hate going to the class?

Are there other reasons?

NOTE:  If attendance is required for your classes, this can be defined as logging into Blackboard several times a week in online classes (which your instructor can monitor) or participating in a discussion board at certain times, or if your instructor provides additional information in lectures that is crucial to passing the class and you are not going to class, then you have a problem.
