Introduction:
Symbolic play: playing with dolls is great for children. It helps the development of imagination, language skills, physical development in their fine motor skills (eating and dressing themselves). This type of simulated play plays an important role in the child's cognitive development and social-emotional skills.
Procedure:
Trace the body patterns with a pencil on the muslin and cut out. (2 torsos, 4 legs 4 arms).
Sew the pieces together, leaving an opening on one side of each piece long enough to flip and stuff.
Sew together the arms and legs to the body, making sure that the hands have the finger facing upwards and the legs are pointing to the front.
Trace the face of the doll with a pencil and paint it.
Make the hair with yarn.
