Introduction:
The graduation cap is very special, normally used in academic ceremonies, it can be of different colors, depending on the school or institution and is accompanied by its inseparable companions the gown and the certificate, of which are a symbol that you have graduated, so you must wear it with great pride.
Procedure:
Measure with the yarn, the child's head around the forehead and cut out.
Trace a line on the cardboard 3 inches wide and use the measurement of the yarn to cut the length. and trim.
Trace and cut a square on the cardboard (10x10 inches for Preschoolers, 9x9 Toddlers, or 8x8 Infants)
Line the cardboard square, place it on the fabric, fold it until it is completely covered, leaving an extra inch and cut and sew the sides leaving one open side to insert the cardboard square and sew the open side.
Make a small hole, in the center of the square piece, (the top of our Graduation Cap).
Line the cardboard strip, placing it on the fabric, fold it until it is completely covered, leaving an extra inch, cut and sew the fabric strip on the sides, leaving one side open to tuck the cardboard strip in and sew the open side.
Join the strip at each end, sewing to form a circle.
To form the Graduation Cap, join the square of fabric with the circular stripe by sewing them together.
We trace a cardboard circle of 3 inches in diameter.
Sew the AVANCE logo on the cardboard so that it is firm and circular.
Sew the AVANCE logo to the front of our cap strap.
Take our thread and form a small lock, hold it in the middle to form a small brush and we fasten it with a knot fixing our tassel.
Place the tack with the thread in the hole at the top of the cap, measure the length of the tassel that we want to hang from the cap, then tie a knot inside to hold and make sure that the thread does not come out of place and Open the teeth of the tack to prevent it from falling off, reinforce with adhesive tape so that the tassel does not come loose, nor do children get hurt by the tips of the tack.

Variations:
The logo could be printed on the fabric, imprinted with a sticker or painted directly.
The tack can be placed in the square before sewing it so that the tip of the tack would remain inside the fabric square and not exposed.
