Introduction:
The puppets they are a wonderful method of auditory and visual stimulation. Our children will greatly enjoy everything they see and hear, helping their development of your sensory stimulation, contributing to verbal development as an expressive technique since it allows them to improve their language, increase children's passive vocabulary, increase their creativity through imagination (pretend) and improve children's expression in terms of conflict resolution and needs.
Procedure:
Place two balls of poly fill inside the sock to form the two eyes and another ball for the nose and sew on the outside of the sock.
Trace 4 small circles and 4 strips on the black felt and cut out (eye irises, eyelashes).
Trace and cut out 2 tongues for the puppets on the red felt.
Sew (for the children's safety) the black circles on the eyes to represent the iris, sew the eyelashes behind the eyes and the tongue inside the mouth at the bottom of the mouth.
Create the hair of the puppets:
Long hair: Take enough yarn, make a braid, and sew it behind the eyes.
Short hair: Take enough yarn, fold it in half and with a thread tie half and sew it behind the eyes of the puppet.
