Don't throw the strawberry tops in the compost! Strawberry tops are edible and a source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Add them to your agua fresca or smoothie. Be sure to rinse them first.

1 cup watermelon, roughly chopped
1/2 cup strawberries, halved
1/2 cup water
1/8 cup fresh mint or basil
juice of 1/2 lime
Rinse the watermelon and strawberries. Carefully cut the watermelon into chunks. Cut the strawberries in half.
Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth and you no longer see big pieces of mint/basil. Serve immediately with love.
Best enjoyed within the first 24 hours. Water and fruit will separate - stir well before serving. Leftovers can be frozen into cubes and added to water for a hint for fruity flavor.
