Hello Thursday Families!
I hope you all had a wonderful and restful Easter Break! My family and I did right up until my youngest one got sick with some kind of bug...and then shared that bug with her sister and me. Thankfully, it didn't affect my hubby and Kaiden, and both of my girls have been feeling well! I was really hopeful that with a full day of rest yesterday that I would be okay to teach today, but last night I knew it was best to ask Mrs. Wolfe to save the day and sub! I'm so thankful that she was available! For those that may not know her, she's a wonderful and seasoned Branches teacher for the middle school classes!
Since I was not there today, I don't have much of a recap, although Mrs. Wolfe shared that the class reviewed Lesson 31 & 32 for Physical Science and watched a short video on Roller Coasters and a Recording on a Phonograph. After the Superhero Spirit Rally, students reviewed Chapter 29 in American History. Following the 10 minute break and school announcements, the class read "The Great Bear" and worked on the KWO. Class wrapped up with a fun game of hangman as the students got to know Mrs. Wolfe (and bit about her family) a little more! A big thanks to the students for helping it be a smooth day! Can't wait to be back in class next week!
