We had such an eventful day! We started off our last class of the calendar year with a read aloud of my favorite Bible story; The Birth of Jesus!
Before we jumped into the day's festivities, we did a quick review of the study guide for our Physical Science exam, and then students took them independently. They were given the choice to use their books during the exam (however, notes were put away), and most students chose to not use them! My hope is that that they felt confident in their studying and our reviews!
The rest of our time in class was spent making ornaments, giant paper snowflakes (see pics below in case your student's snowflake didn't make it home!), and enjoying snacks galore! Time flew by, and before we knew it, it was time to head to the Pajama Day Spirit Rally and then watch a private viewing of the Performing Arts Christmas Show! If you have the chance to watch the performance on 12/16 at 6:30pm, I highly recommend it! They did an outstanding job!
Lastly, I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for bringing treats to share and for all of the very thoughtful and sweet gifts! I hope that all of you have a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones, and enjoy this break! I look forward to seeing you all in the new year!
