10th September '25 saw 18 Minto Probus members brave the wet weather to visit the Manly Quarantine Station.  Truly a memorable visit into what came to pass should you have arrived by ship to Sydney with a communicable disease. 

The hopes and dreams of many failed to eventuate and the luggage they brought with them stands as a reminder of this.

The Station was in use from the early 1800's until the 1960's. Today, the cottages that was used to house the many travelers, are now rented out to visitors who can enjoy the beautiful sights of Sydney Heads and surrounding parkland.
