Christmas In July was a great success with a lovely lunch of either Turkey and veg. or Pork and veg., bread roll, and Pavlova for dessert and a glass of wine. Atmosphere of a Christmas season was evident and the 160 odd guests (including our 40) filled the room with chatter and laughter.

The entertainer, Vanessa Carol Powell was a stunner and her voice magnificent. She had the room in the palm of her hands and had everyone singing along with the popular Christmas and other songs. Several of our members got up and danced away to the music. All got up to do the Macarena, with some coordination moves at a loss.

Annette Golden made all of the Probus members a lovely Christmas ornament which she painstakingly made. All in all another successful outing.
