20 Probus members made their way to the Menangle Race Track for a fun event and a chance to experience something different. A welcome was given to the group by one of the executive members of the course. We also had the sheltered section of the building right in front of the winning post to ourselves. For some it was the first time that they had been to any type of a race track, while others welcomed the opportunity to once again watch a live race and have a bet. No big winners and plenty of losers.

Small bets were made, and if lucky enough to bag a win or a place, a small return hardly seemed enough for the money that was outlaid. A shower of rain came down, but being in the building it was not a concern for the group. Also not enough to dampen the enthusiasm of those present. Again an opportunity for members to come together and enjoy the company each has to offer.
