Another fun day on Friday 21st June'24, when 18 of us braved the cold weather to ride the Zig Zag Railway in Clarence. Dressed for the conditions, we all enjoyed the journey, as the steam train pulled the carriages through the mountains. We were all in awe of the scenery that surrounded us and heard the details of how the train first came about in the 1800's.
No longer used for its original purpose (getting supplies to the outer regions), the train is now a visitor's experience, run and cared for by volunteers. Everybody declared it a wonderful day.
