Mini apple pies

Ingredients

Pastry

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 1/6 cup butter

  • salt

  • 1tbsp water

Filling

  • 11/2 cooking apples - cut into small pieces

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • tsp cinnamon

  • 11/2 tbsp flour

  • 1/2 tbsp butter

Method

Rub in butter, combine to pastry, roll out and cut out two large circles (to fill two Yorkshire pudding tin craters) - cut round the base of the milk frother.

Combine filling ingredients - except butter - and fill pastry. Use spare pastry to decorate and put a blob of butter on the top of each pie.

Cook at 220C for about 15 mins or until golden brown.
