Grilled figs with Gorgonzola
Ingredients
12 ripe figs
6oz Gorgonzola Piccante - diced small (!)
2 tbsp Greek honey
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
Method
Pre-heat grill as high as possible.
Combine honey and vinegar for sauce to pour over.
Wipe and halve figs and place, cut side up, on oiled baking tray. Season.
Put under grill for 5-6 minutes, until bubbling. Remove and press bits of cheese equally onto them. Grill for another 2 minutes.
